WHAT RUSSIA WANTS WITH UKRAINE, ACCORDING TO BRENT COOPER

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is not going to end soon. It Seems Russia is bent on achieving its goals before Putin would rest, as a hero that he wants to prove to his people.

In fact, it is now being termed "Putin's War" by the Western media, and they believe, the Russian people are against the invasion.

But what exactly does Putin want in this war?

4 Things.

According to Brent Cooper in a post he made on Quora, Putin wants four things to end the war:

First, he wants Ukraine to stop fighting immediately. No reciprocal promise from Russia.

Second, he wants assured neutrality of Ukraine, i.e., they agree never to join NATO or the EU. He wants this placed in the Ukrainian constitution.

Third, he wants Ukraine to recognize Russian ownership of the Crimea

Finally, he wants Ukraine to recognize the independence and right of self-determination of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

if I were Ukraine I would be very suspicious. In 2014 it was Crimea. Now it is Luhansk and Donetsk. At the same time, we want you not to be able to defend what is left. What will be the next land grab by Putin?

Ukraine is being dismantled piece by piece until there is nothing left to dismantle. From the standpoint of Ukraine, which is worse, quick death or a slow, painful one?

Also, in his latest post on the war in Ukraine, Cooper opined that Kherson is Putin's next target, based on its significance in capturing Moldovia.

He writes:
Putin is aware of the significance. Kherson was the only provincial capital taken in this war. Moldova is Putin’s next planned victim and Kherson is critical to mounting an invasion of Moldova.

Right now Ukraine has been working at cutting off Kherson from supplies. Kherson is in the process of being surrounded on three sides.

It will be an acute embarrassment to Putin for His recently annexed capital to be retaken so quickly after it was allegedly annexed. He has been trying to shore up its defences but is having trouble adequately supplying his troops there.

Just one embarrassment in a long list of embarrassments this war has caused to Putin.
