Nigeria Records Highest Case Of Covid-19 In One Day Yesterday

The NCDC yesterday reported that 195 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria as at 28th April 2020, and its spread is as follows;

38-Kano
15-Ogun
15-Bauchi
11-Borno
10-Gombe
9-Sokoto
5-Edo
5-Jigawa
2-Zamfara
1-Rivers
1-Enugu
1-Delta
1-FCT
1-Nasarawa
Discharged: 255
Deaths: 44
This latest record is the highest in one day, which calls for concern as the FG plans to relax the lockdown as from Monday next week. The minister of Health says this spike is due to community transmission of the COVID-19 and enjoins all Nigerians to take the pandemic seriously by observing all health precautions laid down by the NCDC.
