Preparations are in top gear for the highly anticipated Une-50 and His Eagle’s Concert, scheduled to take place this Friday, July 11, 2025, at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. The concert will feature a star-studded lineup, including acclaimed singer Johnny Drille, hip-hop veteran Faze, Slowdog, Skido, Stoner Nwaigbo, and several other top performers.
The evening of music and entertainment is set to cap off the Nigerian Music Industry Summit and Showcase (NMISS), which will hold earlier in the day at the same venue. The summit and concert are jointly organized by House of Structure, spearheaded by Abuja-based legal practitioner, Barrister Ugochukwu Uneabunso, with Amudi Chioma Felistas serving as Technical Advisor.
NMISS aims to bring together key players from across the Nigerian music landscape for strategic conversations on the industry’s growth, sustainability, and global positioning. This year’s theme — “The Role of Nigerian Artistes in Promoting Climate Action & Revolutionizing Revenue Generation Channels of the Nigerian Music Industry” — reflects a bold step toward integrating music with social impact.
The morning session will feature keynote addresses and a panel discussion involving three industry experts, all exploring how Nigerian music can be a force for climate awareness and behavioural change. Organizers say the event will examine how artists can harness the emotional and cultural influence of music to champion environmental causes and unlock new revenue streams.
The evening segment will shift to high-energy performances at the Une-50 and His Eagle’s Concert, promising a thrilling mix of music and comedy. According to the organizers, music veterans and crowd favorites have been handpicked to ensure an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Ticket sales are reportedly brisk, with major stakeholders in the entertainment and corporate sectors purchasing blocks of tickets in anticipation of a sold-out show.
With excitement building and preparations nearing completion, Abuja is poised to host one of the city’s most impactful music events of the year—celebrating not just entertainment, but also industry innovation and advocacy through art.
