ENTERTAINMENT - Posted on: 1st Feb. 2024 at 1:41AM
On the 12th August of 2023, I received a call from Mohbads mum at 4pm that my son is ill i should come immediately. I told her we should meet at the bus stop.
When I got to the bus stop, I saw both of them on a bike. They were not looking towards my direction but passed me. I told my driver that these are the people I am waiting for , follow them. Being on a bike they were faster. I met them at the waterside about to enter a canoe as they were arriving. So we met at the same time and took the boat. They continued to call mohbads mum but not me. They said they were at a hospital at Osapa London bus stop. So we got to osapa and told them to come pick us. They told the mother that he is now well and we should go back.
Question: who Told you?
Boluwatife, Mohbads PA. So I took the phone from the mum and spoke with the PA. I said , "ah ah, you were calling so frequently and incessantly about the situation. How come you are saying that he is okay now?"
Being a matured man with what I had been hearing since morning, I told the mum that Mohbad must be d**ead. For good 10 mins his mum held me tight so that she will not run into car. I told her that what he has, is what has ki**lled him.
We left and went back to Mohbads house. This was about 10pm. We met a large crowd! I went in and straight to where I would normally meet him at home. I saw his bedsheets soaked in blood. As I was coming out , I heard a dancer called Lifestyle, saying,
"daddy, daddy, this is the body here."
I had not seen it before on entry; but on coming down, they had put the body by the staircase. I couldn't even see well. They had embalmed Mohbad already! Put salt on his chest and blocked his nostrils, his ears, all the places breeze can pass to enter had been blocked and embalmed the local way. The same day I and the mum had gone to Osapa London, to see him!! Same day!
Question: did they know that Mohbads parents are alive?
Yes!
Question: did his mum give them permission to embalm him?
No, I dont think so. The mum was in shock and had held me tight in shock when I suspected his passing.
I met his lawyer, an Alpha, Zlatan, Anya, dancers, PA, so many celebrities, there. I was confused!!!
One celebrity, Davido, called and said he gave me 2 million and was asking if I had received it? So I told him that I had asked them to transfer it to his PA.
Question: all these happened when?
I was called at 4pm by his mum. We got to Osapa and by 10pm I was at Mohbads house, where all this happened.
I then called the PA that the next thing is to carry Mohbads body to police station. We got there around 11pm to 12 am. We spent about 3 hours there. They kept going in and out as I was inside the ambulance waiting for police report. They were delaying so I went down to find out why. I thought we would be arrested for bringing a d*ead body of a celebrity to the station but we were not arrested. Give us police report, they said no way. They took me inside to write statement but I said I couldn't write and that I can speak while they write, for me. They did
When I finished. I asked them for a copy. They said there was a mistake on it. That they will correct it first before I sign. While that was happening, another officer entered and said, I should not be given permission to take the body away. I asked why? The policeman said, when Mohbad di*ed which police station did I report to? I told them that i dont live there and only came to the area and met the situation.
They didn't give me the police report, so we went to the mortuary at Ikorodu at about 3am. I told them that this is the situation. They asked for police report and d*eath certificate. I had no idea that Mohbads wife had the d*eath certificate with her all along.
Mohbads wife didn't bring out the death cert.
The mortuary, refused to collect the body.
The ambulance said the arrangements we made with them was for ikorodu and they cannot pass ikorodu, I had to look for another ambulance. So I asked the PA to use the money with him for anything needed. So I went back home to make arrangements.
I trekked home because no transport at that time. I got home around 7.30am. I then took my car to where Mohbad would be buried by 8.30.
Along the way fuel finished in my car so I walked. My first daughter Blessing Aloba called me and asked him where I was and I asked her to gather her younger ones together and take them to the mortuary where Mohbad will be carried and brought to ikorodu. I could not stay there for the burial, because in Yoruba tradition, I must not see my sons body. It was in film, I saw that the coffin was small and they put a cloth on him and added "ado". Ado is a ritual thing. I saw it inside the coffin. After 7 to 8 days government called me, that they want to exhume his body for autopsy.
After autopsy we have been waiting for the report for 4 months now. The Corona inquest has come and we have gone. The inquest made me recollect a lot of things that had happened hitherto.
Example?
The placenta of Mohbads son. When the boy was born, Mohbad had called me that he just had a son. So I asked Mohbad if I should come over. Mohbad said no, that he is bringing the placenta of his son to me. That he just had a son. I waited and after some time i didn't see Mohbad. So I called and Mohbad said ,
"daddy, forget it, we have taken care of it" so I realized based on the inquest questions, that it could be that they took the placenta to the real owner of the son!!!
I had planned to name the boy Victor, but the owner of the son obviously, gave him Liam, which is a Muslim name. Mohbad didn't give him that name. We are Christians.
2 things have brought me here to the human rights office.
1. The autopsy result because its taking too long.
2. The DNA of the alleged Mohbads son.
