My Dearest Onicha Ugbo,

I love you, scatter. I greet you. I have and will continue to serenade you like a million stars, in my writings. You are my only ancestral home. My dearest native land people, thank you for your positive reactions and supports to my Facebook posts with regards to the gruesome murder of our dearest favorite son and  Town's waterman, Ugochukwu Nkenchor, by Idumuje Ugboko Billionaire, Ned Nwoko's thugs, on his farmland, May 07, 2019. Late Ugochukwu and the  times have found us. I can feel your pains, your anger and your disdain towards our King and Chiefs of our homeland who, until now were in a conspiracy of silence.Ugochukwu, like other past mysterious murders and disappearances in our town, was too poor to matter. No! This doesn't have to be that way. Every life matters. You, my dear, could be next to be neglected by what appears to be a corrupt and feudalistic traditional institution. But the times have changed. The world is no longer round. It is flat.

Your comments expressed rage and disappointments against our traditional institution and the King: HRH Victor Chukwumalieze and his Chiefs.

Onicha Ugbo is angry.

I read from you, my dearest people, the feelings of displeasure and belligerence aroused by long-standing wrongs to our dear homeland by the King and his Chiefs. There is a palpable disconnect between the Palace (The Ruling Class)and its subjects: we the people: babanla discrimination. For instance, in Onicha Igbo, the traditional institution scorns at those who barely exist, to them, it’s a crime to be financially poor, to live moderately, the young roam the streets without any social engagements except cultism and politics. No security. No employment. No attraction to inspiration. Plainly, there is no more hope for the dwellers of my hometown. Our youths have become essential political thugs, marginalized by power and privilege, for their political gains. And as these happen, the Obi would dine and break the most nutritious Agege bread from an expensive weaved basket with politicians and celebrities with cash. Cash is Onicha Ugbo's King!.

What has the Obi done within the past 20 years to Unite the town, to encourage these youths roaming and raging village pathways for survival and existence? The people are levied beyond their means. Everything is money: It's my understanding that the palace parlance is:"MONETIZE IT. The Obi and his Chiefs bankrupt people who seek mediation to just a small village or family palava, under the disguise the Palace want to mediate. Basic necessities of life and liberty are levied. I feel your frustrations.

I will suspend the ten per cent commission conversation from all land transactions to the Obi in our land. We shall return to this soonest!

My people, I have been accused of insulting the sacred institution of our land, the King:  warned that an insult on the crown or the Obi is an insult on all sons and daughters of Onicha Ugbo. I apologize if they took my sincerity the wrong way. But hasn't the Obi desecrated our collective sacred hearts? His two children, Ugochukwu and Blessing died in the most fantastically ugly and bizarre circumstance. What have the Obi and his Chiefs done to assuage the family? Has the Queen ever visited the widows or parents or families of these great sons, to commensurate with the bereaved families?

What becomes of a leader when the people no longer trust that, which by birth, they swore allegiance to?

These men deserve justice. We must sustain pressure so their families would get justice. My people, imagine if the tables were turned: every Onicha Ugbo life is valuable. Two deaths, five months apart, linked to Ned Nwoko and Obi and his Chiefs, perhaps, afraid to confront Ned Nwoko. Are our lives that cheap? Who is next?

Obi was encouraging the family of Ugo to sell the scene of the murder crime so he could get his percentage, that the family should level with Ned Nwoko. That is jibiti: he did not care about the wrongful and painful death of Ugochukwu. He was more interested in protecting Ned Nwoko, the. alleged murderer of our Ugochukwu and accept his financial settlement commission. The Obi and his Chief's hands were caught in the cookie jar. They now claim my story is "half-truth". Please is "Truth" a ration?. Is there a "Full truth"?

The palace and his apologists also claimed the Obi did not ask the Nkenchors to"take the matter out of this palace.... go sell the land to Ned. Settle with Ned'... Why would the family lie as they mourn? What do they have to gain by lying against the King of our Kingdom Why would all of their stories to me be consistent, credible and verifiable? If the widow lied, why then did the Queen sent her palace errand woman on Sunday to order madam Ugo's widow, Madam Patience to come to the palace on Monday at 12noon, only to be interrogated? The Obi and the Chiefs are trying to cover up: their regular trademarks.

My dear beautiful people, in the coming days, I shall write more on unsolved murders, missing persons and Obi's silence in this regard. A lot of covered shenanigans plaguing an amazing small town. The spirit of Ugochukwu is leading me somewhere. I do not know where, but it is my prayer that this will transform our town for the best.

Dear esteemed chiefs of our town, go into town, listen to the people, feel the pulse of the people: the people are tired of the Kingdom.

They are frustrated. Onicha Ugbo is sitting on a deadly explosive: the anger and rage of its frustrated sons and daughters, who has tolerated marginalization by the King for so long, too long

The Obi's penchant for the rich and disdain for the poor is glaring in that town.

We will no longer be silent.

It is no longer business as usual.

We shall use social media to redirect our town and its rulers in the most peaceful and progressive way.

Thank you for the privilege to rant this evening.

STAY WITH ME

I will write again,
