Renowned Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and director Kunle Afolayan has unveiled his latest venture — a 115-seater, state-of-the-art cinema named “The Kunle Afolayan Cinema.”
The new facility marks a significant milestone in Afolayan’s illustrious career and serves as a tribute to his decades-long impact on the Nigerian film and entertainment industry. With over 20 years in the spotlight, Afolayan is widely regarded as one of Nollywood’s most influential figures, known for producing culturally rich and critically acclaimed films.
Announcing the launch via social media, Afolayan shared a glimpse of the sleek new cinema alongside fashion entrepreneur Seyi Vodi, who played a key role in bringing the project to life.
“It shall be called — The Kunle Afolayan Cinema. For the great works he has done in the movie and entertainment industry. It is a 115-seater cinema. Thank you @seyivodi,” Afolayan wrote.
