JUST IN: NIGERIA'S NGOZI OKONJO-IWEALA IS NEW WTO DG

Nigerias former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has won the race for the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
She got 104 votes from 164 member countries defeating Yoo Myung-Hee,
South Korea’s Minister of Trate.
Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was managing director of the World Bank and had also worked as a chairman, Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization.
She is now the first African and first female to occupy the position of WTO DG in 25 years of its existence.
