Ize-iyamu Wins A P C Primary, Becomes Flag Bearer For The Party

Yesterday, the APC conducted its Primary for the Edo State Gubernatorial elections where Osagie Ize-Iyamu was declared the winner and now flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo.
Ize-Iyamu scored 27,833 votes to defeat Mr Pius Odubu, the former deputy governor of the state and Osaze Obazee, according to the result announced by the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma who presided over the Primaries.
Ize Iyamu, who was once PDP flagbearer would now face the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki who has just defected to the PDP and is expected to be its flagbearer in the September Edo State Elections.
