GODWIN OBASEKI CLINCHES PDP TICKET FOR EDO2020

The incumbent governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has won the PDP Primary held on Thursday and is now the Gubernatorial candidate for the Party in Edo elections slated for September 2020.
After his only rival Ken Imasuagbon stepped down for him, it became a smooth ride for Gov Obaseki who was returned unopposed.
Obaseki had recently defected to the PDP due to the crisis that engulfed the APC, the party on which he won his first tenure as the governor of Edo State. He would now the facing the huddle of winning Pastor Ize-Iyamu who had also crossed from the PDP to the APC.
