Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation on Tuesday took to his Twitter page to reveal that he visited the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan in his Abuja home.
"My team and I had the honour and privilege of spending the evening with President Goodluck Jonathan in his Abuja home last night. None like him", tweeted the former minister.
The Minister who previously visited and held meeting with some big whales of the ruling All Progressive Party inclusive of Party Caretaker Chairman Mai Mala Bunni; and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello in Abuja sparked scepticism on his loyalty to opposing party Peoples Democratic Party particularly as he concealed details of his meetings.
Fani-Kayode refused to say if he is sticking with PDP or joining APC while a bigwig of the All Progressive Party noted that the former minister had not made any commitment.
"Fani-Kayode has not made any commitment yet but discussions are still ongoing. He met with Yahaya Bello and Bunni on Sunday for two hours. It is all about the politics of 2023 and the recent registration drive of the APC the source revealed.
The PDP Chieftan who has been a big critic of Buhari and APC administration has APC members Bashir Ahmad, an aide to the President, Major Director-General (retd.), the Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman and others advising the party against admitting Fani-Kayode.
