BREAKING NEWS: BUHARI REPLACES BURATAI, 3 SERVICE CHIEFS

Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai and three other service chiefs in the Buhari-led administration have today tendered their resignation and retirement.
“Those involved are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
President Muhammadu Buhari who accepted their resignation and retirement letter from the force, congratulates the outgoing Chiefs, thanking for their service qnd effort to bring enduring peace to the country.
The positions were immediately replaced. According to a tweet by Femi Adesina, Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the new Service Chiefs are:
Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff
Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff
Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff
Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.
