ABDUCTED KANKARA SCHOOL BOYS REGAIN FREEDOM

After six days of their abduction, the 333 students kidnapped by bandits at the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara have been released, according report from government quarters.
This came few minutes after a video showing the Abducted boys in Boko haram camp was released, allegedly by Shekau.
Recall that the factional Boko Haram leader, Shekau had claimed responsibility for the abduction, claiming it was to stop western education in Nigeria. However, the Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Masari denied the boys were captured by the terrorist group.
The release of the boys at about 2.20 pm othis afternoon may give credence to the governors claims. The governor yesterday stated that negotiations were on through Miyetti Allah group and that they would regain their freedom soon.
No explanation yet if ransom was paid to secure their freedom.
