Dear Prince Nedum,

A few people on planet earth are privileged financial and health wealth. I have noticed, through research, that you are one of the lucky few. This means you are in a spectacular place to impact your world.

Nedum, that's your traditional name. A beautiful and exotic name blessed you by your native land, Idumuje Ugboko, at birth. The land that you have in the past 20 years, unleashed your anger, rage, wealth, privilege and power against.

What have your people done to you? Is being rich a curse to them? Why use your gift to oppress and suppress your beautiful people, cause fear, chaos, crime, and violence among your people? Nedum, what does it profit Nedum to gain the whole land and lose his humanity, soul and dignity?

You have become a menace to your society. Your money has turned you into an arrogant and beastie money bag.

You want 90 hectares of land in your birthland. That is 244.5 acres of land. Haba, nwannem. You are also buying all available lands on the Idumuje Ugboko/Onicha Ugbo axis, encroaching on lands, remapped the border between Idumuje Ugboko and Onicha Ugbo. The lands you bought in Onicha Ugbo, you put a sign that declares it; Idumuje Ugboko. My brother, what are you doing with all these acquisitions? It appears you desire a town of your own where you would become the King. perhaps, IDUMUJE NEDUM TOWN. Your crave for lands has brought deaths and destructions to the poor peasant farmers in our towns.

Nedum, kilozi?

You have touched our souls and torched our hearts with your mad money.

Your money has divided us. It has brought disdain, discomfort and disrespect to our cherished traditions and traditional institutions. You have created monsters as cult followers, empowered layabouts as your thugs, intimidated innocent poor people who now fear to farm on their ancestral farmlands: the lands farmed by their ancestors. You have armed fools to chase our aged mothers, young wives and dear daughters from harvesting our crops in our farms.

You are one of Anioma's rich men, yet notoriously linked to murders and mayhem within Aniocha/Oshimili local governments; linked to police brutalities, violations of liberties, and our human rights, in concert with our corrupt police and judiciary. You have used the most severe charges of Nigeria's penal code: TERRORISM AND MURDER CHARGES,  to lock up our husbands, fathers, and sons. Your wealth has brought sorrows, tears and blood to our land. You have continually punished our progress, suppressed our sunrise with your money.

It shouldn’t be so. Look around you and see how your wealthy colleagues, your fellow Anioma men have used their wealth to best our human lives and society: Dr. Ibe Kachikwu bought lands for developments, created employment opportunities for our sons and daughters, offered scholarships to Ezechime brilliant students, cared for our widows,  without loss of lives or intimidation. Prof Monye too. Even your hometown Oil merchant, Rain Oilman, Ogbechie continues to excel with investments in human capital and infrastructure to benefit humanity without parading armed thugs and ignorant hangers-on in our towns.

Prince Nwoko, why can’t you emulate the fantastic endeavors of your contemporaries? Do you really think Tony Elumelu would feel comfortable being seen with you for a long time? Or Dr. Ibe Kachikwu associating his reputation with yours? You have created a motor-park tout image with your money and with those who surround you. Reputation is a fountain where dignity sprouts. Just look around you? Money can't buy you everything.

Nedum, what is wrong with you?

Do you ever stop for a second to think about how your actions are stressing your family, especially your pregnant young wife, Regina Daniels? Don’t you think your family deserves peace, calm alongside the comfort your wealth provides them? What about your children? They are from Idumuje Ugboko? They have friends and acquaintances. I guess they are social media savvy like most brilliant generation X children. Our actions, as parents, trickle down to our children. Sometimes our children implode with their feelings about how our behaviors and misbehaviors are daily affecting them psychologically. Prince, I do not know about you, but what child would be dancing, happily, on any ceiling, or skateboarding, when his father's name is linked to loss of lives and an unending land disputes or rubbished in the media? What joy does this land disputes with your people bring to you?

Idumuje Ugboko deserves peace and harmony. Onicha Ugbo cherishes justice. You, my dear Prince deserves the peace of mind, calmness, and happiness, to live in love and laughter, among your people. Your people deserve to progress. Every town blessed with rich persons deserves to progress, too. We wish to see educational, employment and other development opportunities to help us grow as people. Yes, we deserve these, but they must be done with respect to our peace and dignity as a people. Nedum, you cant continue to bring chaos, confusion and confrontation to your people because you need land to actualize your dream.

There is a destiny that makes us brothers and sisters. None of us goes his or her ways alone. All that we place into the lives of others come back again into our own. I hope you will invest in sincere peace with your people. I hope you would get rid of those ignorant and uneducated "field and house negroes" who surround you and further harm your intents with their infantile actions on your behalf. They are misrepresenting your mindset. Its been too long, so long since you started this. Perhaps, its time you sat down and rethink what has been your accomplishments with your tactics. Let me stop here.

My regards to Regina.

Oh, by the way, my late mother's name was REGINA. You see, despite your despise for me, we have a few things in common: the women we love dearly in our lives are namesakes. My mother's nickname was "Mama Reggie". Its a privilege to end, thusly: regards to your dear wife, Regina Daniels: "Mama Reggie".
