The 2024 International Day for the Girl-Child has held with a charge on parents to monitor the nutritional, mental health and reproductive rights of the girl-child which is necessary for her physical, psychological and emotional growth.

Guest Speaker at the event which took place at Government Secondary School Laranto, Jos, Pharm. Dorcas Lohdip Domjul said the theme for this year's event which is, "Girls Vision For The Future" was selected based on UNICEF analysis, which showed that girls are very courageous in the face of challenges and also hopeful for the future.
